Artist Statement

My work covers a wide variety of subject matter, from Portraits and Pets to Landscapes and buildings, as well as a varied selection of media.

When deciding on a subject to paint and choice of media, it is usually the first impression created by the colours and form that sparks my interest.
My aim is to convey to the viewer as much about the subject as possible and give a sense of being 'at one' with the finished work. Hopefully being treasured for many years.

The Gallery section in this website shows a small selection from my works over many years. Many of them were sold or specifically commissioned.
